GB Reg is part of Stonehenge Internet & Database Services Ltd which is also
available for hosting services at
http://www.stonehengeinternet.co.uk. Stonehenge Internet &
Database Services Ltd hereafter called Stonehenge
Internet Services reserves
the right to offer hosting space or services under the banner of
GB Reg. The terms herein are applicable for
services provided by either Stonehenge Internet Services, GB Reg
or Stonehenge Servers
whether the service provided is domain registration, hosting or
dedicated servers.
TERMS
OF SERVICE
Stonehenge Internet Services provides World Wide Web page hosting. Stonehenge Internet Services reserves the right to suspend or cancel a
customer's access to any or all services provided by Stonehenge Internet Services when Stonehenge Internet Services
decides that the account has been inappropriately used or
otherwise.
We may modify any of the terms and conditions contained here at
any time and in our sole discretion, by updating and posting at
this web page.
SERVER USE (NOT DEDICATED)
Hosting accounts are to be
used by the primary owner only. Shared hosting account holders are not
permitted resell, store or give away web-hosting services of their
website to other parties. Web hosting services are defined as
allowing a separate, third party to host content on the owner's
web site. Exceptions to this include ad banners, classified ads,
and personal ads. Storage of images, media and music files are
prohibited except where these files are being used to support and
display web pages on the site, and subject to them not
constituting 'Illegal Material' below.
Stonehenge Internet Services
reserves the right to refuse service and /or access to its servers
to anyone.
Stonehenge Internet Services
do not allow any of the following content to be stored on its servers:
Illegal Material - This includes copyrighted
works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material
in violation of any Federal, State or Local regulation. This
applies to material published in whole or part.
Adult Material - Includes all
pornography, erotic images, or otherwise lewd or obscene content.
The designation of "adult material" is left entirely to
the discretion of Stonehenge Internet Services.
Warez - Includes pirated software,
ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking. IP
spoofing, etc., and encrypting of any of the above. Also includes
any sites which provide "links to" or "how to"
information about such material.
Stonehenge Internet Services reserves the
right to disable a domain for abuse as detailed above. It may be
possible to offer alternative hosting services on an alternative
domain but in this event the original options have been lost and
will have to be repurchased against the new hosting plan.

RESOURCE USAGE POLICY
(Webspace and Bandwidth)
Bandwidth overusage:
This can only occur on our limited accounts. The customer will be advised
and provided with the opportunity to upgrade the account to unlimited. If
the account is not upgraded, Stonehenge Internet Services reserve the right
to charge to your account
the amount of 2p (£0.02) per 1mb used over the allocated
bandwidth. In rare
cases, Stonehenge Internet Services may find a customer to
be using server resources to such an extent that he or she may
jeopardize server performance and resources for other customers.
In such instances, Stonehenge Internet Services reserves
the right to impose the High Resource User Policy for the
consideration of all customers.
HIGH RESOURCE USER POLICY
Resources are defined as
bandwidth and/or processor utilization.
Stonehenge Internet Services
may implement the following policy to its sole discretion:
When a website is found to be
monopolising the resources Stonehenge Internet Services available
reserves the right to suspend that site immediately. This policy
is only implemented in extreme circumstances and is intended to
prevent the misuse of our servers. Customers may be offered
an option whereby Stonehenge Internet Services continues hosting the website for an
additional fee.
PAYMENT POLICIES
All accounts are set up on
a prepay basis. Although Stonehenge Internet Services
reserves the right to change prices of accounts or services at any
time all pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment.
Payment is due each anniversary year or month following the date
the account was established. Customers will automatically be
charged again at the end of their prepay period unless closure
notification has already been given.
In situations where the card number
on file is declined Stonehenge Internet Services will
immediately suspend the facility to purchase services on-line
until the outstanding charge is processed successfully. In
addition, Stonehenge Internet Services reserves the right
to suspend other services until the outstanding debt is cleared.
The customer is responsible for all money owed on the account from
the time it was established to the time that the customer sends a
written cancellation request.
Vat invoices will
be sent by request.
All payment is currently in UK sterling.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
In order to streamline our
accounting procedures and keep costs down Stonehenge Internet Services
runs a limited
number of payment options.
Credit / Debit Cards:
Stonehenge Internet Services accepts Mastercard, Visa, Switch, Delta, Solo, JCB
and American Express.
Regular Payment Plans: (Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Annual,
Annual, Two yearly) Payment
must be received at the latest within 7 days of the due date, otherwise
Stonehenge Internet will withdraw the services. The plan
may be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice and services will cease after one
month following the last payment on the due date, this does not
apply to Dedicated Server Plans (see below under Cancellation
and Refunds). Options to
hosting plans are paid annually and under no circumstances can
these be refunded.
Cheque Payment:
This option is only
available to customers who pay annually for their Stonehenge Internet Services account. A credit / debit card number
will still be required if customers require the facility to
purchase domains and other services on-line. Stonehenge Internet Services cannot guarantee that a service will be
provided until after any received cheques have been cleared.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Stonehenge Internet Services reserves the right to cancel the service at any time
in the event a customer contravenes Stonehenge Internet Services
terms of service, a refund will not be issued in the event of a
cancellation. Stonehenge Internet Services will provide at
least 60 days notice to the customer in the event of the
services being permanently curtailed by the company. In this event
a pro-rata refund will be made to the customer for the remainder
of the membership period, if applicable.
Cancellation of Dedicated Server Plans taken through Stonehenge Internet Services
or Stonehenge Servers, whether self managed or managed are
subject to 90 days minimum notice. This is the case even if the plan has
been taken on a monthly rate.
If charges relating to bandwidth, hosting or dedicated servers are
outstanding for a period greater than 5 working days without prior agreement
between the account holder and Stonehenge Internet Services,
your service will be suspended and furthermore, Stonehenge Internet Services
will refer the account to a debt collection agency and inform
credit reference agencies. This may seriously affect your ability to obtain
credit in the future.
INDEMNIFICATION
Customer agrees that it
shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Stonehenge Internet Services harmless from any and all demands, liabilities,
losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees
asserted against Stonehenge Internet Services, its agents,
its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result
from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed
or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns.
Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Stonehenge Internet Services against liabilities arising out of; (1) any
injury to person or property caused by any products sold or
otherwise distributed in connection with Stonehenge Internet Services server; (2) any material supplied by customer
infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a
third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective
products sold to customer from Stonehenge Internet Services
server.
UPGRADING OF WEB HOSTING PLANS
Upgrading is allowed at any time, and the balance in price
difference between the existing and new plan (at the prices
stated at time of upgrading), is payable, subject to the
following discounts:

These discounts do not apply to Dedicated Server Plans.
DOWNGRADING OF WEB HOSTING PLANS
Downgrading is only allowed at the annual renewal date of the
web hosting plan. Existing features not relevant to the new plan
will be suspended or charged for as appropriate.
CHANGING
SERVICES/OPTIONS
Changing the
operating system from Windows to Linux or Linux to Windows
is allowed subject to the following:
There will be a charge of £10 + vat.
To
install existing options required on the new server, they will
be charged for one year in advance at the current cost shown on
our web site. This does not apply to the Personal Control Panel.
Changing options
on the same operating system is permitted, new options can be
added at anytime, however no refund is available for
cancellation of options which are payable in advance for one
year.
RENEWAL
OF WEB HOSTING PLANS
Automatic renewal of web hosting plans will be undertaken and an
invoice sent 30 days before renewal, which may be payable by
cheque or credit/debit card. This invoice is required to be
fully paid by 7 days before renewal date, otherwise the account
will be suspended. If existing plan features are not required,
then Stonehenge Internet Services must be informed 30
days before renewal date. The special offer of discounted domain
is not applicable on renewal and is subject to the full
advertised price of the required hosting plan.
VAT
All prices stated are applicable to VAT at the current rate
unless otherwise stated. For orders made from the UK or European
Union, then VAT is applicable, otherwise orders will be VAT free
and the exempt button must be applied on the product payment
page.
