Stonehenge Internet Services
was formed in early 2000 to service the internet industry, in particular
domain registrations, internet web hosting and e-commerce applications.
Based in Salisbury, Wiltshire in the heart of the south of England, the
expanding customer base is far reaching throughout England, Wales, Scotland
and Northern Ireland, with many now located in regions throughout the world.
Later in the year 2000, Stonehenge Internet became an authorised partner for
Actinic Software, providing advice for small and medium enterprises in the
choice of product and customised e-commerce solutions. The company continued
to grow with the provision of competitively priced hosting for the whole
range of users.
In 2003, a domain registration subsidiary was formed -
GB Reg
as a direct response from existing customers to provide such a
service. It has been highly successful with a dedicated and specialist
hosting side to complement Stonehenge Internet.
Stonehenge Internet & Database Services Limited was formed in 2004 to
include the existing operations and to concentrate on database marketing
support to include services in database building, cleansing, enhancement and
management.
